Developed by Terry Skrinjar, CEO of Q-Tech Laboratories, in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, the Q2 Water spa is based upon a new quantum resonance theory called Q-Mechanics that alters an external source of artificial energy into an energy format that is similar in nature and compatibility to that of a body. Though not specifically designed to diagnose or treat disease, the Q2 Water spa has received approval from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (Australia's equivalent of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)) to be marketed as a therapeutic device in Australia. This revolutionary technology has been around for over 5 years and, until recently, has not been made available outside of Australia.

The system consists of a custom designed power system that produces a 24-volt direct current to a patent-pending water array consisting of copper and special steel plates. According to Skrinjar, the arrangement and constituency of the plates and material of the array, combined with proprietary electronics, create a specific electromagnetic signature and harmonics, which are emitted into a medium of water. Users of the system immerse part or all of a body in water (limb immersion or full immersion), and then turn it on for 20 to 35 minutes. "The Q2 Water spa uses water because up to 80% of a body mass is water, and water contains the necessary electrical patterns to adapt a conventional electrical charge to a bio-charge," Mr. Skrinjar says. "The bio-charge is the organic electricity an organic body mass produces in order to operate itself on a daily basis. A low bio-charge means the body mass is low on energy, and thus the whole body becomes sluggish and lethargic in all its functions, possibly leading to the development of various physical symptoms in the form of aches, pains, and disease conditions. By giving the body a bio-charge boost, some of these symptoms can be alleviated by a body mass and it's system can eventually be restored to its full function." In effect, according to Mr. Skrinjar, the Q2 Water spa rebalances a body's meridians, realigning its bio-energy field, which explains many of the benefits commonly reported by those who use it.

As the Q2 Water spa operates, it generates a complex waveform signature that interacts with the water on such a base level as to be synergistic with the bioelectric state of the person being treated. For this reason, individuals should be treated one at a time as everyone has a individual and unique bio signature, using clean water for each session. The generation and absorption of this bio-charge has been shown to increase the potential voltage in a body's cell membranes, thereby enhancing immune system and helping to maintain cellular function, while at the same time helping to eliminate bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. The Q2 Water spa can possibly be shown to stimulate a body to release toxins and foreign material, often resulting in added discoloration of the water as the release occurs.

Individuals who are pregnant, should avoid using this system as well as anything with an organ transplant or battery operated implants, such as a pacemaker.
